Frequently Asked Question

Screenshot only one Monitor
Last Updated 3 years ago

It is well known that the PrtScr key alone will copy the screenshot and so is is available to be pasted as needed.  All screens are included.

Less well know is the Ctrl+Alt+PrtScr shortcut button combo on the keyboard that will take a similar screenshot, but only of the screen that contains your mouse cursor.  These single screen views are much more legible for the recipient.

Also available is the Win+PrtScr shortcut. It will take a screenshot with all screens and automatically save it in the Screenshots folder in Pictures folder.  This image can then be cropped as needed for inclusion in a ticket.
